Anyone (else hehe) checking out GuildWars?

This is a CO-MMO, Competitive online MMO. They hesitate to call it an RPG and so would I. The focus of GW is to get away from the insane leveling in games like EQ and provide a focus on Player skill instead of piling on equipment.

Among the interesting aspects to the game is that you walk into combat with 8 spells - that's it - and you cannot change them during the mission. So whatever strategy you and your teammates come up with, they better work .

The game was just "Alpha'd" during E3 and anyone got to play - myself included. I was blown away, very enjoyable. Don't go in looking for an "EQ" - you wont find one. This is a new derivative.

PvE, PvP and GuildvGuild are all going in. No monthly fees (yes you read that right) and an expansion (optional) every 6-8 months (pay for).
