    One question which is probably obvious, and thus answers my question. Is Halo 3 for the xbox? YES? Then I have no interest in it, as I dont, and will not own one.

    It's actually planned for the Xbox360 console and Windows Vista exclusively - because of the graphical requirements of DX10 technology...

    But, if you don't want those either then, it's your loss :)

    Meh, it's shiny, but there's going to have to be something special to make it on my list. Just having the Halo name doesn't make it something awesome anymore, especially with the tons of equally good looking games coming.

    Two things. First, the Halo3 Open Beta is now ready for candidates.

    Please note that in order to register for the beta, you must be 17 years or older and a resident of the 50 United States (includes District of Columbia) or Canada. If selected to participate, you must have access to the following:
    • An Xbox 360 Pro console (includes hard-drive);
    • A valid Xbox Live Gold subscription;
    • A valid Microsoft. NET Passport account with a Xbox Live gamertag linked.
    As usual since I'm in the UK, we here have to wait before we can play... the bastards :)

    Now we come to the second thing -- for those of you who missed the simulcast earlier today during the Superbowl, don't fret because here it is...
