Help me with ports

    umm did I just see you give away your router password thats a big no no secondly depending on your bittorrent client it may be downloading so slowly if you don't seed for a certain amount or for as long as the client wants you to and that is the programers way of penalizing you another thing also is what else are you running while you are downloading I notice a rather large drop off in my d/l's in bittorrent as soon as I even just open up Firefox/Mozilla something else I just noticed as I poked around my bittorrent client is the more files I'm downloading the faster they download

    EDIT: just realized you either have your default password still set or you picked a really easy one change it to something combining letters, numbers, and symbols to best avoid getting hit by a wandering cracker

    EDIT EDIT: netgear doesn't make a mr314 but they do make a mr814 in which case you should especially change the password because it is a wireless router which makes it even more vulnerable

  3. umm, its default, and it gives it away in a google search, thats how i found my password and username. orange, do you use a router?

    yes I use a linksys and a cisco I got from my dads work

    EDIT: the cisco is at my dad's for informations sake

  5. Okay, im really getting frustrated now. i put in a port range for it and it simply does not make any difference at ALL.
