I have a theory.....

The theory, while intriguing and a bit arousing, is full of holes. First of all, Kurt Russell has Herby the Love Bug, (a VW Beetle for crying out loud!) as a friend and I know for a fact Patrick would never settle for such ghetto friends. He is more of a Porche Pal. Also, while Patrick has some issues with dancing and Demi Moore, I would rather be seen with Demi than Goldie anyday.

 

While in principle I don't find your theory to be distrubing...this is:

Too much cool between them...they can't possible be the same man.

 

While it appears that the jury is thus far divided as to whether or not Swayze/Russel is 1 or 2 persons, it is not clear as to whether or not Mani is aroused by them individually- if they are not indeed 1 but 2 men. Is the arousal triggered by the combination of the cool? Or would the coolness of them seperately be sufficient to spark arousal?

Perhaps this is a mystery best left unsolved.

 

We digress! My arousal is not in the concept of them being one person, but whether so much cool can be packaged in any one person! It is not the vessel but the message within!

I say we forego further investigation and break out into gnome tossing contests.

 

Hmmmm They both make more money than i do, so as far as coolness points go the im out lol. Both have made great/Chessy movies and both have had beautiful women. I think the idea of them being the same person is odd though Pat would never play a fun role like Images posted by BD. That movie was so cheesy fun it still is good.

 

I would think that they could be 'related' some how, and I feel that Kurt has a much higher "cool" factor. Not only is he an avid hunter, rides horses, we cannot forget TOMBSTONE and he is a hunter as well.
However, this also gives rise (pun for mani intended) to anther theory that I have=
That David Bowie, not Mel Blank (before he died) as the voice for Elmer Fudd. (Cast your minds eye = Imagine Elmer Fudd singing "Let's Dance" for instance.)

Hmmm....so are you trying to imply that they are Irish? Perhaps Leprechauns have had some part in this? If so...perhaps we could substitute the gnome tossing for Leprechaun tossing!!! They are roughly the same size no? We might even get some gold out of it! Maybe Donkey's friend has found some we could use...
