I am probably the only person here that will care but issue 8 has released on City of Heroes.

And to answer the inevitable question, yes the wings flap while I am flying. (And the trenchcoat tail flaps as I fly too.



We have the police scanner. Which is the hero equivalent of the newspaper missions. No more getting stuck between levels and street hunting for days. You can just whip out the police scanner and get a mission from it. Finish 3 or 4 missions and you get the opposite of a villains bank robbery mission. You have to prevent a bank robbery.

There are a lot more costume pieces added than just wings, trench coats and samurai armor. Wing look great, trench coat awesome. Samurai armor I haven't messed with.

Faultline is no longer a trial zone. It has been reclaimed and is getting rebuilt. There are new contacts there and in the back of the zone, at the dam there is a door to a mini trial zone.

Faultline is probably the slickest part. I have a contact that I do a couple missions for and she tells me to meet her at her boat for the next mission. You enter this boat about 100 yards from her and are in a mission WITH the contact. They need to touch it up a little but she is a pet tanker. You lose her the first time you enter an elevator (hence the touch up needed) but it is a pretty slick mission. You work your way to the top of this leaning building that is crawling with Sky Raiders. Then enter a door to the interior of the building.

But the building was leaning.

All the interiors are leaning too. 3 storied map (or 4) that has about a 25 degree angle to it.

The zone is now for the level 15-25 crowd. There are no more CoT in it, the Raiders and Arachnos "drove them out". Also there is a contact that I want to get, she has clockwork protectors around her. They are non-combatants, but I want to know the deal.
