IN REMEMBERANCE

Discussion in 'General Open/Public Discussion' started by FaithStrike, 11 Sep 2006.

  1. This is just a reminder for us to take time today to remember those that lost or gave their life on September 11, 2001. Please take time today to tell someone you know who is either a Police Officer, Fireman or in the Armed Forces and tell them how much you appreciate them putting their lives on the line for you each and every day. They don't have to do this but they choose to. It's because of these men and women that we still have our freedoms we take for granted.

Also if you know someone who has lost a loved one on or since that day please hug them and tell them you love them and let them know that their loved one will never be forgotten.

To all of our men and women in the Armed Forces, I salute you and thank you for all that you do or have done. Keep up the fight and know it is not for nothing. May God bless you and your families!!

Agreed, I don't know how I missed this.

Every year around this time I just have an empty feeling for all those who lost their lives. I still remember the day it happened here on these forums, everyone was so confused about what was going on.

I don't know how many people know of this, but I'm going to start wearing red on Fridays. It's a grass-roots movement started to remember all of those who have given their lives these past 5 years in service to this great country of ours. I would encourage all Dragonwolves to wear something red on Fridays.

  6. Sent, I really like the idea, but in this day and age surely there is a website on it? I repeat, I really like this concept, but I want to make sure I am not supporting a PETA idea to ban cows or the equivalent. Any websites on this anywhere?
