Maybe thats one of those things that haven't yet made it to Canada, like running water and drive through liquer stores.

 

They don't pay taxes there? I thought they were the US's 51st state?

Why the hell would we want Canada as a state? Is sort of like Delaware only bigger.

The Taxes in Canada are Horrible. I was born In Vancouver, B.C. Orignally and many of my family members still live there. I belive that last year my cousin ended paying 51% total tax. Canadians pay PST (Provential Sales Tax, 7% on sales or 10% on all alcohol sales) they also pay GST (Goods and Sales Tax, 7% flat rate on all sales and services)

Cigarrettes can now go up to almost $9.00 dollars (Canadian) in some areas, Or about $5.58 in US.

A carton of cigarettes can cost you up towards a total of
$60.00 Canadian. the same thing that Washington State is doing now. Right now in Washington State Cigarettes now average $5.50 to $6.00 a pack. That is what they are calling the "Sin" Tax. Alcohol is now taxed .36 cents more per litre. And non-tribal indian casinos will also have a extra 10% tax taken off the top adding to the 20% they already pay.

Holy shit, there are drive-through liquor stores? Sure as hell not in South Bend, Indiana.

 

You need to go to Ohio fer that luxary. They have the most fuxored up liquer laws. They have state licenced liquer stores so you only get 1 per area (allowed to sell over 80 proof) but you also have drive throughs that are open 24 hours where you can drive in and they throw beer in yer trunk, you pay the people and you drive away. Very useful as a freshman when you pull up and get 15 cases of beer at 9:00pm fer the nights festivities.
