This one is a pretty creative email, my Dad got it yesturday. I think a lot of people will be falling for it. Good thing he asked me first :p It "came" to him from postmaster@wi.rr.com to his road runner account saying he had been infected with a virus that was using his account to spam emails. He was supposed to follow the directions in the attached zip file to remove the virus.

    Anywho, just a heads up.

wow...do people read the ending part of addresses from emails? *sigh*

  6. yes, and i got tricksied with its.

  7. Indeed -
I've received two (2) emails with a W32.Mydoom variant the other day....
One from an address at "anthropologie.com" and the other from "swbell.net" interestingly enough. (I've never been to either of those sites)

Oh well. Chalk it up to a refreshing change of pace from all the usually horrendous amount of spam from foreign dignitaries wanting to give me money, to strangers asking me why I'm single, sellers of hot software prices, my ultra-carb diet, druge, sex, etc...)

I've also noticed that once one email hits me - about 5 follow from different addresses, the subject line is different, but the body of the email is identical.
    Sheesh.
