Medal of Honor = l33t (Yes, I have the right game this time.)

  1. As found out in my "Empire Earth is win" thread it turns out I was misinformed of the title of the game I was playing. It was actually Medal of Honor and I must say I haven't had this much fun playing a pc game in quite a long time. Maybe it's the nod towards more realism that is a nice change of pace, or the fact I feel like I'm playing Saving Private Ryan or something, I dunno.

However, it's almost scary. To think that there were real life humans out there that had to go through some similar types of events and may have gotten killed or wounded, it's just insane. After seeing movies like SPR and Black Hawk Down and now playing a game based on those type of real life events, it more then ever makes me hope the draft is never reinstated so I don't have to be led to slaughter in a similar fashion.

...don't get me wrong though, I'm still gonna play the game. I get infinite lives there. (Didn't mean to turn this into a serious post.) :D

  5. The beach invasion stage is totally crazy. People were saying getting past the gunners just after making to the shingle was hard, I guess they didn't notice the sniper rifle laying off to the side, hehe. It took me forever to make it from the water to the shore and then to the shingle though, I couldn't believe how insane that was. I'm two stages past that now though, had to take a break. Heh.
