    Why not some place lice SF, or San D? Where people want to go?

    Damnit I hate LA!!!!!

    Oh well I'll have to check with some friends and see if they want to make the Trek.

    $70 was for all 6 days. It was only like $20 or $30 for just the weekend I thought. I mean it's not like your wife would ever let you go to a LAN for 6 days straight.

    Hell when you came to AZ, she only let you stop by the LAN for an hour, and you weren't even allowed to touch any of the computers.

    She called it a nerd convention :rofl: I be won on those :). Shes rough 3yrs of Tribes has given her a new outlook on online games. However Little G is more then happy to hop on in daddys spot :D

    I pay 25$ to go to a day long lan.

    It isnt cheap/free to run a lan ;) Especially one of this size. 70$ isnt all that bad

    I have been 2 two lans in AZ, and they both cost me around $250 when you figure in the Air fare to fly there, the food, and the beer.

    IPX was the only bad thing Novell did. Then again back when they made it no one knew that TCP would becom the standard for the Internet.

    Just think in a world without Bill Gates it could have been IPX/IP, and IT Admins would all live an easy life because their Novell networks would run smooth.

    Then again the fact that NT is so friggen hard to manage compared to NetWare help to stimulate the economy by requiring twice the number of admins people need to hire, and all the bogus little schools that that sell you MCSE certifications.

    Wow, now that I think about it. Microsofts lack of a good network opperating system is really a good thing. Think of all the jobs that would be lost if they came up with a truely stable OS.

    Thanks Bill. I don't hate you for killing Novell, and making my CNE worthless anymore.
