    Trailer just came out. Doesn't look like much, as a teaser, but I'm going to see it regardless of how bad it sucks or not (which it will). /nostalgia

    Looks pretty good. I've heard about it but nothing really fired me up to see it, until now. I love when they keep trailers short and simple instead of giving away too much.

    lol... I'll have to go see this one. Here's hoping the rating is low enough to bring the kids.

    As a fan of the original series when I was a teenager, I cannot wait for the movie to come out. I have read that they are going to use the first generation Transformers, like Optimus Prime (Of Course), but more of the orignal transformers that were the best in my opinion. Like StarScream, Soundwave, ThunderCracker, SkyWarp, Prowl, Hound, WindCharger, Brawn and others. If Dreamworks studio is making this film, I am assured that it is going to be very good.

    I recently heard a rumor from a friend that they were going to turn Optimus into a firetruck and Bumblebee a camaro...Anyone else hear of this insidiousness? I know that there is a firetruck transformer, Inferno? -

    I've looked around abit, but didnt' find anything conclusive...oh...and maybe they'll just get this guy to play him

    You are correct, Inferno was the firetruck. I cannot see them doing that when everybody knows that Optimus Prime was. I cannot see them making bumblebee a camaro either. I believe that they will stick by the story as close as possible because of the fact that they know that dedicated the fans are.

    I just had G4 on in the background and watched an interview with one of the directors at comic-con.

    He squashed the rumor about Optimus prime, said he is indeed a semi truck as he should be. He also said that the original voice actor who played him is going to do the movie voice.
