Jimmie Johnson is such a punk, he caused both of them wrecks. He is pissing off soooo many people lately that he is gonna get a taste of wall here soon as a lesson. Least Stewart wasnt caught up in either or I woulda been really pissed My room mate is a Newman fan though, heh, boy was he mad.

 

Jeff Gordon can die in a fiery, massive wreck.

And no I'm not a Roushkateer - I'm a Jeff Burton fan (yes he drove for Jack but now drives for Childress).

That and anyone who can take Gordon out.

 

Nah just never liked his attitude but give ya credit for stickin to your guns PM.
Never knocked his talent, just his disposition.

If it's any consolation, I admire Bobby a lot and despise one my own drriver's teammates for the same reason I dislike Gordon - Kevin Harvick. Several drivers come off as arrogant which I dislike - Newman, Stewart, Johnson to name a few off hand.

 

A lot of NASCAR fans here. I would have never thought. I'm a Tony and Bobby fan but Michael Waltrip is getting close. I like him, he is a very humble person but the master at the sponsor dropper.

 

In the first "Big One" the 48 came up into Wallace and just caused it all. It was so obvious from the replay but the annoucers didnt have the guts to just flat out say it. They kept trying to spread the blame. The second one, Johnson went up into the wall on his own, then bounced back down into the pack causing the accident. Me and my room mate were watching him slide across the infield grass yelling at the tv for him to hit the inside wall. Much celebration followed after he did

I mean, he has caused several wrecks this year. So much so that he is constantly on the defensive whenever he gets asked about them. Hell, he spun out Stewart then imediatly tried to justify it saying that Tony was break checking him, total BS. And yes I am huge #20 fan

 

I haven't been a fan for very long (bout 5 or 6 years maybe - I actually got into it the year Dale Sr was killed) but something about Gordon's attitude just struck me the wrong way...hence why I don't like the guy.

I've only switched favorite drivers once - because Ward Burton got shuffled out of the circuit and I naturally started following his brother after seeing his attitude (yes he does get hot sometimes but is generally respected from what I hear).


Gordon and Marlin? That's an odd couple if I ever saw one.
I still blame Marlin somewhat for what happened to Dale Sr - he after all started the wreck at Daytona by getting into the rear of Sr when he could've easily checked up cause no one was anywhere near him.

 

Any of you race any of the NASCAR games put out by Papyrus?

The last one, "NASCAR Racing 2003 Season", is awesome. Racing online is a blast. Though haven't raced in quite some time.

I've got an MS Sidewinder Force Feedback wheel with the pedals....it rocks.

Nothing like doing 185+ down the backstretch of Daytona/Tally while drinking a beer!!

I only have 2003 for my XBox but I do have a steering wheel and pedals for this rig. Might just pick up an old copy of 2004 if I can find a used one.
