New album in Feb 2007 (Funeral for Yesterday). With the new guitarist Tara McLeod we may actually get some leads. One of the videos has her playing a lead, but the idiot bootleg camera person is concentrating on Morgan. Morgan is the singer/guitarist, but come on..a chick playing lead should be something you would want to get on camera!! And Tara is hot. Well, they all are, but still, a hot chick playing lead....duh!!

Anyway, Kittie rocks, no two ways about it. Hope they hit close to here on tour.

Kittie, another reason to enjoy heavy sh!! with not only wretched vocals, but clean. Morgan does have a very nice clean voice.

Not sure what you mean by that. Especially since the main photo is four chicks with pillow feathers all around them. Perhaps the music? If you aren't into that type of music, it might make sense.

As for the music, the vocals and heaviness aren't anything new. Wretched vocals have been around since the early eighties, maybe earlier (the punk movement wasn't really known for wretched vocals, but most were kinda rough). When Venom came out, and Possessed, Slayer, Bathory (Bathory being the defining sound of Black Metal and Viking Metal), wretched vocals took hold.

I just think it's cool to see an all chick band doing it, as there hasn't been one yet.

Morgan has an excellent clean voice, yet it's cool she can get wretched.

Basically it's cool that an all chick band can sound as heavy as other bands, in the genre, as all dude bands, or bands with chick singers and the rest as dudes or some mix.

I think Kittie is the ONLY all chick band that does this, so far. And they do it well. That is what is so cool.
