The new one is the Barton Core which has 512K cache instead of the 256k on the Thoroughbred Core of the one you ordered.

They're the same price and your MB supports it.

You guys are probably going to want at least a gig of RAM. Things could certainly change, but the way planetside pre-loads, the more RAM the better.

 

I got 2 gig of ram (was going for 4 but 1 gig dimms are outrageous!)

Since XP is based on NT platform we know that more memmory the more it uses!

The 9700 Pro AIW will rock though!!! (I have an 8500 but that will be moved to my wife's machine)
