I got a new toy on my bike. I was surprised that it changed the sound of the bike. It gives it throaty hiss, which was a shock. I can't wait to get it out on the road and see how the performance is. I had the elbow and bracket powder coated. They started out as black. It's a Forcewinder from useforce.com

    Thanks man!

I'm to the point I hate riding in town. Twice in about 5 minutes I've had some texting idiot pull out in front of me.

    Happy T-Day to everyone.

Looks good. Black and red goes together awesome. I hate seeing EVERYTHING chromed out like most fair weather, once a year riders do to their "machines".

Is your bike fuel infected or carbs? Either way, have you thought about doing some tuning do to the newer higher flowing air intake? If fuel infected a power commander or dynajet tuner can work wonders and is fairly easy to tune. If carbs, then a jet kit may be in order, although more work and more tuning is required.

I was the service manager at a bike shop for 8 years. I saw some bikes that came through with user added accessories IE: pipes and air filter, and if they did not tune the fuel system then they actually lost power and performance. Helps with throttle response too, if it isnt as crisp as stock it "feels" like you lost power. We had a dyno and ran one guys Vulcan 1500 that he added a Dynajet High Flow air filter and actually lost 5 HP due to not tuning his carbs for the higher flow.

Fuel injected. The throttle on that thing is a light switch.

I'm thinking of adding a Doebeck TFI to the mix.
