Nice birthday present I got

    (my boss - the company president - got me this as a bday/good work gift):

    Anyone that's an LOTR fan knows what Anduril is. Amazing thing is this sword wasn't cheap - $400 and was of a set of 3500 made.

    Hardly a redneck thing at all.
    And yes he bought the sword for me - my cube at work has 4 LOTR maps on the walls so he figured I was a huge fan.

    Never thought he'd do this.

    Interesting. So....if your boss gave it to you, did he (she?) expense it? If so, I figure you work in IT or Cust-Serv... ;)

    Hmmmm... Only a few hundred made eh? Because I'm to lazy to investigate, who was replicator that produced these?

    Same boss that put $500 towards my laptop last year, yes.

    PM - about 3500 were made by sword makers in Toledo, Spain. You can check the sword and other stuff out from LOTR, Harry Potter and other sci-fi type stuff at www.noblecollection.com.

    The sword was only available to ship via ground if that tells you anything. If he expensed it I could care less - the fact I have Anduril means more than that.


    Orange - let's just put it this way: I know more than most people on Tolkien, I own all 3 actual movie posters, all 3 extended DVD's, a necklace that has a silver piece of jewelry on it that has Elvish script, I now own the sword, I own 4 books (Silmarillion, Lost Tales of Middle Earth, The Hobbit, The LOTR Trilogy), 2 PC LOTR games, 3 XBox LOTR games.

    Need I go on? :D
