    Great job Rax!

  3. Awesome job!!! Keep up the good work!

  4. Ya well, just time to stop. Just called it quits cold turkey and had a couple of rough days. During those first few days, I was thinking in the third person lol. Always watching myself for mood swings and analyzing myself to work through the bad spots. Should be in the clear now.

Good Job Rax! Keep it up. I havent had a cig in a year and from my experience the first 2-3 weeks were the roughest. Gum and sunflower seeds helped me =).

  7. It will be one of the greatest decisions that you ever made. I smoked 2 packs of Marlboro Reds for 16 years. When I finally quit I realized how much better I felt and I did not smell like 30 full ashtrays. Also the fact I saved myself about $300-$400 a month, that is almost $5000.00 a year to kill yourself...Insanity.
Congratulations and Great Job...Do not ever go back...

  8. I didn't have a serious habit. Serious enough for me to have difficulty quitting. I was a late bloomer for smoking. Didn't pick it up until I was in my 20's.
I don't plan on going back. But I sure enjoyed my smoke.

  9. hang in there rax...i quit in dec. 2006...the dragonwolves here were a great support system...sure..ive had my few "falling off the wagon" but being smoke free is the best decision i have ever made...prolly hasn't balanced out the bad ones..heh...but if ya ever have the urge or whatever...do what i did..post about it...the folks here will help push ya thru the days when you get those horrid little cravings and no amount of dog walking...treadmilling...writing or reading or what whatever you do can take the edge off....

and ill tell ya...i still want them...but its true..the cravings only last a few seconds and if you are functionally ADD like myself...you won't even remember wanting them ;)

  10. I still am working on this problem. Its damn hard.

  11. When you want to do it Peace, you'll do it. It's just a matter of mindset.

  12. My Grandmother quit smoking after 40 years, one day she just decided that was enough and she never had another smoke again. I think she's been smoke free for the better part of 20 years now.

  13. I don't smoke but my gf is trying to quit... I can tell that it's not easy.

I'm pretty proud of how she's been doing though.

  14. Good stuff! Saves a lot of cash putting the butt out.
