Oh man I'm going to hate myself in the morning

    I downloaded the planetside 7 day trial thing today. I have been playing a bit (but watching my computer crash more). So if you guys need any certain position, just tell me and I?ll do it.

    So hamma, that?s 7 days to persuade the "non-believer" into this thing :D

    I have been having a bit of fun. But I keep on getting this thing that says my computer has stopped reciving packets, and then after a while it disconnects me. Is there a way I can fix this?

    When mine stops receiving packets I just force it to crash to desktop.
    My mate Rose/Vampyna kept crashing and she had to change something in her settings.
    Mighta been control panel or settings in the game.

    make sure that you have your bandwidth settings correct.....If you have a linksys router then you need to upgrade the firmware due to a known problem that causes disconnects every 15-30 minutes or so.

    What Hamma said Legendary.
    If you loved airships in T2 you might love the reaver and mosquito.

    Try the different areas out. I was a farmer back in my T2 days so it's natural I turned Spec Ops/Engineering.

    I do like the air ships in this, however I do have a bit of a hard time with the reaver. The mosquito is much better then a shrike though :D .

    Thanks man, that was the problem. I was actually able to do things this time. I killed 3 people in my reaver!

    once you've had a mosquito, youll never go back to a shrike. :). That said, I've only been able to loop a mosquito once (and live). The mosquito is a lot more maneuveralable, and it simply put.. Its just damn skippy.
