I don't want to start commenting out of fear I would not be able to control my anger.

    Sad

  2. Got this in email recently. Immigration is defintely an anger subject. I think foremost though we have to get control on our borders. Its just stupid to have so much airline security but we leave our backdoor open.

  3. I try to watch my tongue.... <censored>
This blows my mind - how can our Border Patrol be complicit in something like this? How can our government be pandering to these <censored> people?

Migrants rights???????? Their right to violate our borders?

This whole situation MUST END. This is :disgust: and utterly

    Officer
    Nice.

The whole Immigration thing pisses me off to the core, not because I don't want immigrants but because some people cannot grasp at the fact that this action is ILLEGAL Why is it so hard to understand?

I'm up for buying an island in the carribean and starting our own country, who's in? :p

I am sorely disappointed that our government, who is supposed to be protecting it's citizens, would hand over information that could possibly endanger them.

    This blows my mind...

    Officer
Sadly I am not surprised :(

Money talks. Lobbying should be made illegal, especially donating via lobby.

We will ticket you for not wearing a seat belt, but we could care less about a porous border!

Sounds good to me. Can I have an obscure cabinet post or a Supreme Court seat? And minions -- everyone needs minions. ;)

Sort of off-topic, but is there any practical difference between the words, "License and Registration Please", and "Papers Please"?

None. Random stops on a public road demanding your "license and registration" reminds one of the Gestapo or the KGB. Imagine what would happen if you asked the officer why he needed to see them?

  12. Mexican Hunting License - April through October - Must renew annually

::Only valid in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas::

  13. Going to make a tasty dish for us when you are done hunting cyrus?

  14. cheap work force...immigrants work thier asses off...at about everything but trying to be legal..know why? they make more money..they dont' pay taxes...yet get the benefits if our health care and our school system(whatever that is worth these days)...some even get social service benefits...i.e foodstamps and the like...also doing the job cheaper than a legal citizen would...be them mexican or paki...

as more immigrants are getting either legal or deported...big construction businesses need those cheap day workers they don't have to pay insurance or unemployment towards...they hook up with "mules" who provide them a fresh supply of workers fresh from the borders...so in a sense...the money people don't want a full on free access pass for the immigrants...because they lose their workforce...so it is in thier "best" interest to keep illegals...illegal...i would not be surprised if some of them were actually helping get folks accross the borders...

anywho...i was in union square for the big illegal "walkout"...it would have been nice to understand what they were protesting...but all thier damn signs were in some strange language...you wanna be a part of this country...play by the rules...and at least attempt to speak the language..if i could understand what you are saying..i just might give a rats patootie about your problems...untill then...i really don't care about your "rights" because to me...you have as many rights as an ex-con untill you obey the laws of this country....

whew...sorry..i really had to vent...i had gone to union square to relax that day not knowing it was "illegal immigrant walkout day"....it was..i would say..the last place on earth i wanted to be...and i just happend to wind up there...oh the humanity....

  15. We need a our own Hadrian's Wall ... too bad our forces are already too stretched to deploy a few divisions along the border...that way the border patrol wouldn't have to worry about the Minutemen....maybe we should just pull out of iraq and the rest of the planet...

    Isolationism ftw! j/k

  16. I forget who said it.. but we need an obsticle course.
I mean if some mexican can get by:

    a rabid alligator-filled-moat
    some crazy texans with muskets
    possibly large, swinging, spiked pendulums
    Me.
we could put some talkative canadians in the mix
    ROUSes
    a horde of LARPers
move the boundries of west virginia and have it stretch across a part of the course
and last but not least tom cruise.

if they can get by that, give them citizenship.

  17. I'll sign that petition...

  18. The reasoning is probably that its better to have everyone know who is where than have multiple armed groups with no knowledge of each other's presence meeting suddenly and violently. The situation is tense enough, and it makes sense to trust the Mexican government to not abuse the information and hopefully avoid a confrontation and loss of life.

  19. Trust the Mexican government? The ever trustworthy ally we have int the Mexican government has been teaching their citizens how to illegally immigrate... going so far as to put out brochures, posters, and pamplets on how to do it.

Trust the Mexican government? Trust them to screw us over...

My great uncle lived in Mexico for over 30 years...and from his experience the Mexican government has its hands in everything and is corrupt through and through. You can't get utilities turned on without the right bribes. Businesses have to fork over huge portions of their profits to stay open- and i don't mean taxes. Bribes are what gets things done in Mexico. Everyone has their hand in the cookie jar, not just the government. The mexican people need to stop looking for a better life for free in our country and start making a better life for all of them by fixing their own.
