Hey guys! I was talking to my 10 year old son, who I just realized wasn't even born yet when I played Tribes with you guys, about the game Tribes today. He plays Darkfall with me and also Day of Defeat, we also played Asheron's Call Darktide with me for a while before Darkfall came out. Anyways I was telling him about how awesome the game Tribes was with Insomiax mod and I searched my old name and came up with this site, which I think is pretty cool.

I wish I could fire up an old system with a Voodoo 2 12 meg in SLI like the good old days and play some tribes, that game has never been matched.

Anyways, thanks for the good times back in the good old days, maybe I'll see you guys around again in another game.

PS: Tribes 2 stunk!

 

I started on Frostfell the week AC launched. I played to level 16, I think about 10 days, then moved to Darktide. I actually played that game pretty consistently for about 10 years heh. About two years ago I made a character on Frostfell again just to have some different faces to fight and leveled to about 180, then quit AC all together.

 

I just found that there are Tribes servers up again, this really surprises me. Have any of you tried it? Did they ever get Tribes working well on Nvidia cards? Do they still have Insomniax mods?
