    Guys, if it comes down to it, our peeps in uniform are ready. They are training and working to be ready to do what needs to be done.

    They will need our prayers/thoughts in the future.

    Ah look at all the cute Air Force people. What's with all the purple smoke? That's not CS gas. Don't tell me you did a mopp4 drill and you didn't use CS gas. *Have to give the Country club a hard time* ;)

    I do find your masks to be interesting though... Can you wear normal glasses in those things? Is the sun glare hard to deal with in those things? Are they cooler than the Army masks? The Army is still using the older model with the insert glasses in them.

    I was manning the "crew-served" digital camera :p , except the group photo. It was funny, because every person on the day shift was shorter than me!

    I took a total of 70 or so pictures during the exercise. Those are just a few of them.

    The gas wasn't harmful, it was merely a smoke grenade. They will occasionally drop some CS, but that stuff is white and it does affect the human body. :D

    Z, you will get to experience CS gas in basic. Not like when I went through Army basic, but they will let you "experience" it.

    The whole point of throwing the colored gas is to liven the exercise. The grenades have different colors for different purposes. (Purple is actually the color for terrorist activity.)
