  1. i saw this on hbo the other day....its an hbo special about a small little midwestern/country town...

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0380615/

i can't even put into words how this affected me and i can't explain it in written words...the small town of whitwell reminds me of the town i lived in growing up...and the kind of prejudice from all sides that can be blown away by something as simple as knowledge and love for mankind...im not going to go into detail about the movie because i think a little research for yourself on what this town accomplished and discovered is far more rewarding if you find out for yourself...i STRONGLY suggest this movie/documentary...it evokes kinds of emotions and feelings that we have either forgotten or have chosen to forget...if you are not afraid to answer difficult questions from your children regarding the holocaust...its okay for them to watch i believe...its not innundated with graphic pictures of the travesities that happend...but mostly of kids spurring a community to do something wonderful and very memorable...

    two thumbs up...

  2. I'm going to see if my Blockbuster has it. It may be a long shot however as our Blockbuster seems to have weird criteria for what they carry. Must be the neighborhood. :)
