   The dual Core design of pent is dead in the water already by design , amds is designed for it so they will take the market share till pent comes up with a new one. I have both amd and pents i like it when they are closer in competetion as it makes for better chips and designs and thats win win for us the consumer.

   The real roadblock to amd's dualcore is its pricing...i forget the actual numbers, but amd isn't pricing them to move...they're not geared for rapid adoption -while Intels will be competetively priced.

   As far as gaming goes, its not going to improve any frame rates or anything like that. It'll be good if you want to record the game you're playing with as little 'machine lag' as possible. Thats about all I can see from the gaming standpoint. Educate me further if you feel my opinion is wrong.
