Last night was our aquarium club meeting. Which I somehow have become the unofficial photographer for.

The first 9 are videos from the place.

Guess I should talk about the 'place'.

It is called Rusty Eck Ford. (Car dealer natch)

The showroom has four 500 gallon aquariums placed end to end. There is a shot in there with all 4 visible and a shifty looking teen standing at one end For scale. (everyone wave to my son Scott)

Plus they have a 400 gallon in this waiting room. But in the parts department there is a 300 gallon. (we didn't get to see that one)

One tank is coral and the others are predator tanks of various aggressive degrees.

Vince is a freaking artist. His tanks are always slick.

 

Easier to maintain than fresh. Just more expensive at the front end.

 

FYI the batfish you seen in images and video is huge. He is about a foot tall and about the same long.

 

A very graceful fish. For those of you that just can't have enough fishy talk. This is what a juvenile looks like.

The one in the pictures is about 1/2 grown. It is in my list of "fish that should never be purchased or sold".

They start out really cute and little. New borns are the size of your pinky fingernail.
