PlanetSide Recruit

Greetings CDL,

I'm posting to introduce myself and state my intentions to apply to your PlanetSide division.

Some gaming history first. I've been gaming since my first game console which was the ColecoVision. Some time after that I had a Commodore64 and played many a game on that computer system. I have fond memories of playing the original Castle Wolfenstein and Return to Castle Wofenstein games (Original Wolfenstein). Jump forward to College and I remember when I saw ID's Wolfenstein 3d and was blown away. I progressed to the X-Wing series, Doom, Dune, Command and Conquer and many more games that I can't remember. Ironically it was Id's Return to Castle Wolfenstein that got me online and active in online gaming.

It's becuase of gaming that I haven't owned a store bought PC since I bought a PackardBell 486 20Mhz with 2MB of ram for College. My first upgrade was to slap in a Creative sound card and to double my ram to 4MB. Since then I've put together all my gaming systems from scratch.

I was in a clan for awhile playing RTCW in the TWL as a backup player. I've participated in the PlanetSide and SWG betas. For the past couple of years I've been working on my masters degree with only a little time to devote to a clan. I have a semester and a half left before I'm done with my masters degree and I'm looking forward to more free time for online gaming with a clan.

That leads me to his post. I really enjoyed playing PlanetSide, and I really enjoyed playing with a clan that used good teamwork to complete objectives. So that has led me here to find a good clan to play Planetside with. I just purchased and downloaded the core Planetside game so I can get online and start building my character. I don't know much about the 2 expansions that have come out since I've last played, but I will purchase them if they're necessary. I reinstalled TeamSpeak, tested out my headset and I'm ready to get online.

For now I'm going to ease myself back into Planetside, finish up school. find a good clan to play with and hopefully have a whole lot more time to play online with a good team.

I was just wondering when you folks are usually online so I can try to hook up and see how you guys do ops. Also about how many of you get together on a regular basis to do ops and do you guys do ops with any other TR outfits?
