Productive day today

    Just wanted to chime in here.
    Woke up.
    Went to Lowes.
    Picked up some insecticide for the lawn (ticks and such) along with some crabgrass preventer.
    Got a battery for my lawn tractor. The battery finally died after 12 years. Not bad I'd say.
    Installed battery.
    Mowed the lawn.
    Rolled the lawn. (still have some areas where the frost heaves obliterated the ground along with my new seed coming in)
    Put down the insecticide and weed killer.
    Field stripped my tractor.
    Sharpened the lawn mower blades.
    All this just before the rain showed up just now.

    Oh, and I'm downloading Stomping Land. Looking forward to wrangling in some dinosaurs later today.

    You do the exact same things I do with my lawn and mowers. Changed the belts on my tractor, they were looking rough. I roll mine too, singing "Mine Oh Mine Blow Me Away"....:D

    and these would be those that have golf green lawns with stripes or checkerboards.... including rolling! ;)
