    If you're a home owner, refinance now.

    Our current payment on 30 year loan: $1,200
    Our car payment:$400

    Refinanced both for 15 years: $900

    Can you believe it? Refinancing our car and our house with a shorter term loan on the house makes our payments $700 per month lower and we will pay our house off faster.

    Combined with payments broken in to two parts, paid 2x per month instead of 1x, this loan will be payed off in 10 years.

    It's a $32,000 car and no. :)

    Although we may leave the car out of it. Haven't decided yet for sure. Interest rate on the car is 4% right now. The mortgage is just over 5% but is tax deductible.
