Reserves, Policing, and general nuissance...

1.) Field Artillery: Shoots big noisy cannons that are crew served
(meaning: take a couple or more guys to fire em)
Usually Field Artillery guys are the ones that go 'HUH'? when ya ask em a question...

2.) Field Infantry:
Usually found running thru the woods with a rifle & a helmet.
In practice, pretends to shoot other similarly equipped idiots...
In reality, also know as 'Cannon Fodder' (see #1)
Gets to dig lots of holes, and walk thru the woods carrying everything cept the kitchen sink...

you want to be INFANTRY? uhg, the cannon fodder statement above comes to mind. I decided long back that if i went into the military, there would be exactly three options 1: Command Path. 2: Artillery 3: Sniper (assuming of course that i could get the requesit accuracy rating, which is fucking perfect so that is not gauranteed).

 

Yeah I think you would have to be Infantry first. Not sure though but I know there is a sniper school. I believe most of it is a mind game.

Like they would tell you to look over a landscape for a few moments and then take you inside a building.

Then they would bring you a box and in that box there would be some objects like pencil, paper, paper clips ect ect and they would let you look at it for a few moment and then take it away from you. Then they would have you write down as much detail as you could about the objects inside. (example: Pencil was 5 inches long and had five sides blah blah blah)

After you were done with that they would take you back outside and ask you if anything had changed in the landscape you view before. Sometimes they didn't change anything and sometimes they did. Just to see if you noticed. This is only how it was explained to me though.

Sniper is a hard job to get because of the mental part. Sometimes a sniper will sit at a position for days on end and not move for anything. That includes taking a piss.

Hey some special forces representatives are at Fort Hood right now. I went in to see a doctor and they had fliers at sick call. Maybe Asmo wants to be American Delta Force?

Im aware of the sniper training courses. Snipers essentially act as scouts and assasins . And i am also aware of the fact that i would have to go through basic in the infantry. Note the order i put those in .
