    I used to watch Firefly. Was bummed when it was canceled and am happy to here there is a movie. Hopefully it will fill in some gaps from where the series ended.

    Firefly was picked up by the Scifi Channel. They are going to make new shows.

    I have a friend that got to see advance viewings of the movie and said it rocks.

    Aye. And the Sci-Fi channel is showing the series in the correct order too.

    I got turned on to this series by a coworker. I can't wait for the movie.

    While they are airing the original series on scifi, they aren't making any new episodes as of right now.

    At least,thats as much as i can find with a casual perusal of the interwebs.
