The Matrix Online is a game that, ultimately, is about community; for that reason we want to see that players can meet easily and join together in-game for fun and friendship. Recently, members of the community have noted that it can be difficult to find other players in The Matrix: Mega City. The current level of population density can limit opportunities for socializing with other players which are such a key part of our worlds.

    Bringing Worlds Together

On August 2, 2005, we will be merging the nine current worlds into three new worlds. This merge should help to increase the number of players on any world at any given time. One world will be Hostile while the other two will run under normal PvP rules. Here is the breakdown of which worlds are being joined together:

Enumerator, Heuristic, Input --> Hostile World
Method, Regression, Iterator --> Normal World
Proxy, Linenoise, Output --> Normal World

......bfrs.....*shakes fist* indy I will always remember you besterist as the name that won't be said but way to get off topic you, he's talking about merging servers not adding content that hasn't been tested past a couple of stoners going:
Stoner 1: "Hehehe wouldn't it be cool if PS had some big fing robots in it?"
    Stoner 2: "Hehehehe yeah."
    S. 1: *goes and throws some laggy code together*
    S. 1: "Done now lets take away something the community really wants."
    S. 2: "Like the phantasm?"
    S. 1: "Yeah but lets let them believe it's still in development like our gunship."
    S. 2: "What gunship....oh yeah that thing that we said was a good idea?"
    S. 1: "Yeah."
    *ding dong*
    S. 2: "Sweet the pizza guy is here."

EDIT: See it wasn't the fact that they were overbalanced, even though they were when they first came out due to the sheer volume but it was the fact that they hadn't done enough testing and needed to release patch after patch for them afterwords instead of developing something that the community wanted. I mean SOE was so full of itself they said on a few occasions they would do what they wanted and the players would just have to live with it, how do you run a business like that? You don't and thats why PSide is dying more and more everyday. Sorry but PSide was such an awesome game that it makes me pissy to think it was raped eight ways from tuesday after release.
