    They are an Icelandic band..... If I had to describe the music i would say Progressive ambient rock....... they are on the Vanilla Sky soundtrack (song that plays when he has to make the deicison on the roof top at end of movie) and Life aquatic with bill murray.

    I have heard some of their music, but I do not really like it. It seems that most of their songs are all similar in tempo, melody, "mood," etc.

    Now if we are talking about concerts, I would have to say Ben Folds is the best band I have ever seen live.

    One of the best bands (and loudest) is Manowar. Have seen the a couple times. Excellent shows. Only band that has ever made my ears ring for 3+ days. And I've seen lots of heavy bands.

    In fact, Manowar was in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the loudest band live. Their stage volume is almost as loud as the PA system.
