sound capture from video?

    is there any way or program that will let you rip the sound off of like an .mpeg or something...have this great song from someone but its a video thingy...any suggestions?

    Pinnical Studio 8 (or 9) will do it. I believe they have a free trial.

    I can do it with Vegas if you want to send it to me. Let me know what you need or if you need help and I can set you up.

    Windows Movie maker has the option to either have the video or the audio, as it splits both up into two seperate timelines. If you have XP, you should have Windows Movie Maker.

    I could do it for you in Acid, or there is also a free program called Absolute mp3 recorder that you can get at download.com.
