Stalker Beta

So got my invite from FP and installed the Beta last night. Upped almost everything to max, still ran very nicely as I do have a beast. Have to say though, it still looked pretty blah. No where near as good as the screenshots have made it out to look. The texture on everything also has a really odd fuz/rust or something look that I guess they were going for but really doesn't look that good to me. The running/movement feels really bad. A little like fear but worse. Main thing is you die insanely fast. I've been playing CS for a hundred years, and always loved it even when you could get HS'd constantly. But in Stalker it doesn't take a headshot, 2 or 3 shots here or there at a pretty big range while moving and you die. Appears most ppl who've played it also agree its really sub-par game right now. As long as this ones been in development to come out like this its pretty disappointing.
