Star Wars Ep: III Teaser Poster

    HONESTLY: Not too bad, but it could have been better. I swear, the poster makes Hayden Christensen look a little like The Crow or something. I still hold firm to my belief that the Ep I teaser poster (Little Anakin on Tatooine with big Vader shadow on building) was by far the best Teaser Poster.

    I would have much preferred this one as the Ep III teaser...but I guess III is suppossed to be dark and morbid, considering the transformation to Vader.

    I dunno, I think they just shouldn't release EP 3, I mean he's fuked up the series enough already.

    Honestly, I don't agree with some of what he did...but I don't think he messed it up. After all, it's his creation. We as fans were raised on the original holy trilogy, thus we had preconcieved notions and ideas for the prequels. From what I have gathered from various interviews and it also being plainly stated...the single battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin is perhaps the longest duel in cinema history, like 15+ minutes or something like that. Also, Lucas mentioned in the 80's that the duel involved lava or something like that...which is going to be in the movie.

    Personally I can't wait for it.

    I admittedly liked the prequels...except for Jar Jar and the other gungans. But as a trilogy in and of itself, they were decent. Todays kids may even like them more than the originals. I personally know of many kids around here that prefer the new movies over the old ones.

    I just hope that Lucas gets off his butt and does the sequels too. I remember an interview he did in '89 that he was waiting for technology to catch up to his dreams and visions. He stated he wanted to first do 3 prequels and then a set of 3 sequels. That being stated, I hope that he does do the sequels.

    Yes, there are the books, which I have read and thoroughly enjoyed, especially the Yuuzhan Vong and the New Jedi Order.

    But there are currently no plans for the series after the last sequel book (The Unifying Force).

    Would have been nice to see the Episode 1 & 3 posters sort of merged together. Put the young Anakins face and the older Anakins face, split the two in half vertically, merge the two and then have a Darth Vader shadow behind. You take the innocence that was young Anakin paired with the tainted Jedi that is the older Anakin.

    call me silly but when I was younger I used to like reading the young jedi books along with the rogue squadron books, the newer ones haven't caught a hold of me so well, as for the sequel in an interview shortly before the re-release of the original trilogy I believe Mark Hamill said something about them being way way way early in the works and that Mr. Lucas had guaranteed him the spot in the sequels when they came out back when they were still filming the originals so we shall see if they actually happen or not

    I want the teaser trailer!

    On a sidenote, I also hope they do the sequels too. I personally would have rather seen them than the prequels

    Looks like Anikin has a growth of Vader 'morphing' into Jabba.
    Or is it the other way around? I can't tell.
    Or maybe it's just Jabba is going as Darth Vader for Halloween?

    That looks like total crap. It looks like the helmet from spaceballs with Anikin's head popping out the side. My expectations are really low for this movie. The last two had such a terrible script and acting. However, it has become one of those movie series that you have to see no matter what, like James Bond.
