Star Wars Revelations

Discussion in 'General Open/Public Discussion' started by Praetor-Vong, 25 Apr 2005.

  1. As some of you know, I am a big fan of STar Wars and love to watch some of the quality fan flics. I just got word of one that is blowing my mind away. Considering it is a indie film based on a license, it's still good.

At least check out it for a bit. You can even d/l a DVD version for use on your DVD player, complete with jacket and insert artwork. They went all out on this one. LOVE IT!!!!!

Just have to keep in mind it since it is a fan flic the dialogue and acting isn't the greatest. But the movie is better than the real-life clips from games like Dark Forces and Jedi Knight

  2. You would so get along with this guy i work with. He is getting ready for the SW convention going on out in Denver this next week! I had to help him design a Costume from the new movie to wear for the big bad Emperor. Him and his friends also have constructed a R2Beer2 (a keg holding r2d2 complete with shot dispensers)
And as fan flic's go him and his friends are working on a take off of the american chopper series, but they are fixing up i believe its darth vaders ride :) When they get something up i will let you know :) From what i hear ( and its alot cause at night i am stuck with just him to work with unless the occasional pressmen comes in needing something or one of the other visitors that frequently walks thru our stripping department ) it sounds like it is going to be fairly good. They are all into that photo editing and such :)
i think that i have learned more about Starwars in the last month because of the convention coming up than i ever thought was out there ;) hehe
I will have to pass this along to him and ask him what he thinks :)

    Ingwë DragonWolf<BR>The Goose!

    I'm downloading it right now.
I am a fan, not a huge fan though. (I got tickets to see the midnight showing of episode III, but that is just because I'm insane).

  4. Wow, that is some amazing CGI.

PS: her sister must have been a pretty lame jedi to get killed by a handfull of stormtroopers.

The CGI was awesome, though I felt that the acting (which really isn't their fault) and the script/plot was sort of lame.

  6. I had that feeling too. They needed to improve on the way their voices sounded. There wasnt enough passion in anything they said. Also, I found it kind of ridiculous how that guy was fist fighting with that sith. Also, the coreography was kind of lame too.
