Still without cable...ATT sucks

    Still without cable through ATT since Excite decided to bite the big one. ATT says Chicago should be up by tonight/tomorrow and Michigan by Friday. Well they don't mention Indiana at all, but I'm assuming (hopefully) that we are running off the Chicago or Michigan network seeing as how we are so close to both. :mad:

    Well in Dallas they got us up monday night /Tuesday morning ,But still is crap ,sometimes i see websites other times i cant get any websites up ,Trying to call them and get busy signal all the time ,They are starting to really get me upset and pissed off . So if you dont have it dont worry ,prob be crappy anyways .I know a friend in illnois area got up Tuesday late

    Day 6 - Still without cable.

    And yes TB, I read today how the Excite network was capped at 4megbits and now the new ATT network is capped at 1.5megbits as well as some people are seeing sporadic service anyway.

    It still blows goats.

    Yes upload is still the same , Download is now capped
    i use to get more then a T3 dl now its capped at 1.5 , I called them today ,they gave me another # to call and its always busy .So i think everyone is calling and cussing them .
    So when i get my chance i'm going to throw a :mortar: at them :D

    Well yup, we got cable back up and running today and just as previously mentioned it pretty much has gone to crap. Sometimes you can browse sites just fine, other times you'll suddenly not be able to do anything. The capped part really blows. We were getting around here 250-350k a sec, now we're barely getting 120k a sec on downloads. Don't get me wrong, still better then dialup, but come on what are we paying for anyway?
