I am not a man of words. But I respect the power of words, for that is what transformed me. The words of the Sith Code. Others had heard them, contemplated them, and so on. But I understood them, and they changed me. For what was I before I heard those words? Nothing."

    Introduction

Welcome to the Dragon Wolves, a Sith guild in the game Star Wars - The Old Republic. As you are a prospective recruit with us, please take a moment to read through this document. This document will provide you with information on how this guild is run. If you feel you cannot live up to these expectations, please inform one of the officers and you will be dropped from the clan.

We wish to be able to game together and rely on each other to bring separate talents of individuals using various classes and abilities to provide the richest experience possible. We desire to have a mature and reliable clan. In order to do that we are looking at recruiting solid individuals who exemplify the Dragon Wolf motto,
    Honor – Valor – Victory
Honor: A showing of usually merited respect.
Valor: Strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger with firmness.
Victory: Achievement of mastery or success in a struggle or endeavor against odds or difficulties

Through the recruiting process we learn who we can rely upon to hold true to these ideals. Many apply; some make it through the process. Those that do are forever changed. They are welcomed as brother or sister into a multi-gaming group that spans all of the current PC games. Once you become a Dragonwolf, only your actions determine if you stay a Dragonwolf.

    Recruiting Policy and Process

“What fuels your power with the Force but your passion? The stronger, darker emotions. Anger, hatred, fear… these passions empower us." - Yuthura Ban

Our recruits go through a four phase process.
    Phase 1: The Application
New recruits are expected to post their desire to join the Dragonwolves in the Dragonwolves Recruit Forum. There is a form you will need to fill out there. Once the form is posted on the forum, the Division Leader may grant them access to the division in-game. When applying on the forums, please state your in-game name if it is different from your forum name.

    Phase 2: The Interview
Shortly after Phase 1, the divisional recruiting officer should schedule an interview. The Division Liaison Officer should be present along with members of the Dark Council. The purpose of this interview is to inform the candidate of what is to be expected of them and a little about how the division is run. Each officer in the division should have a series of questions prepared for the recruit and also be prepared to answer questions asked by the recruit.

    Phase 3: Probation
Should the interview go well, the Sith’ari shall grant probation to the new recruit. This is a 30 day probation. Shortly after the interview, the Division Recruiting Officer shall post on the Divisional forums the new recruits name and some relevant information. During this time members of the division shall post their thoughts on the new pup.

Two weeks after the interview a vote will be called that will last 48 hours. This is the make or break time for the recruit. Should there be any reservations about the recruits playing ability within the group, or an incident needs to be brought to an officers attention, now would be the time to make it known. Better to call it out now than to fall victim to it later.

    Phase 4: Completion
    If the recruit has met all the previous conditions, the recruit will be regarded as a full Dragonwolf. As of this moment, the Dragonwolf will swear by the following statement;

    Dragonwolf Oath of Membership
“I, [name], carry the responsibility of upholding the integrity and honor of the CDL. I will always wear the –CDL- tag with pride in any of the CDL’s endeavors and will do nothing that tarnishes the image of the CDL in any manner. I will abide by the Code of Conduct of the CDL, selflessly assist my fellow members in achieving their goals and support the mission of the CDL of total Victory through Honor and Valor.”
Should the Dark Council and the Sith’ari see a new recruit and believe that person has what it takes to be a full Dragonwolf earlier than the 30 days, the division can petition the Officers of the CDL to ‘fast-track’ the recruit. This decision must be a unanimous one from the Sith’ari and the Dark Council.

    Post Recruit Responsibilities

Once you become a Dragonwolf you will be responsible for keeping your character active. We define active as logging onto your character at least every 30 days and participating on the forums. Extended absences require a guild officer and the guild master to be informed directly AND with a post in the Dragonwolves.com forums.

If the period of inactivity reaches a 31st day, the Sith'ari will kick you from the clan. If, at some point in the future, you wish to bring that kicked player back into the clan, please inform one of the officers and the reapplication process will begin. We will review your past service to the group and your activity on our forums. If the Sith Council decides to let you back in, they will send you an invite either while in game or will alert you via in-game messages. Do not abuse this privilege. The Sith'ari has ultimate power in bringing you back into the fold.

We feel that gaming together means playing together. If you are having a problem with a certain player, alert one of the officers either in game or on the forums. We take any and all complaints seriously here. We strive to have a fun and exciting connection. Not one filled with drama.

    Infractions and Punishments

As with any guild, there are certain rules that are honored. You can find these rules by clicking this link; http://www.dragonwolves.com/coc/. These are the rules that your actions will be measured against. Please become familiar with it and, if you have any questions on it, please send Sentrosi a Private Message on our forums.

The officers and other players here do not consider the Dragonwolves a XP farming team. We do not look favorably on those who join us and leave us shortly after maxing out their leveling. If you leave this guild for reasons the Sith Council deems unfitting for a Dragonwolf, you will be Dishonorably Discharged, your rights to the Teamspeak server revoked, and forum access restricted to visitor status. Playing in other divisions will have no bearing on this decision. If you are playing in another division, the Sith Council will inform your divisional leader of the punishment and you will be kicked from that division as well. Do not take this decision lightly. We are here to have fun and play as a team in ALL of our divisions.
