Here I am bored at my grandma's house in Tocoma, Washington, listening to this and dancing..... so i thought I would make a post!

I am just loving how wireless is becomming more and more common.... what's even better is no one keeps their connections secure. One of my grandma's neighbors has the internet... and now so do I! :hump:

One of my friends moved into a new apartment and noticed his Internet was working before the cable company could come out and install their cable modem...... long story short, he cancelled the appointment and enjoyed free internet for over 6 months (until the neighbors below moved out).

I can't wait until the time I can just carry my laptop around and be on the Internet at any time in any place...... think of all the porn watching possibilities... er I mean..... Research into the world's energy crisis - yeah that is what I would do online, yeah :D

eh, I'll be on the other side of the country in a couple days :D What they need to do is just have these people secure their connections.

Legal - right. As I see it, if some asshat leaves their wireless network open there is nothing illegal about someone sitting on it, and either way - like anyone would be able to catch you. Police and officials have bigger fish to fry

Heck there are a bunch in my apartment complex

  8. someone hurt him! oh and i LOVE that area your in Donkey, i cant wait to go back agian sometime soon :) if i could live anywhere it would be in western washington!

Yeah it is really nice. Right now we have migrated over to Seattle. The weather has been great. One of the interesting things in Tacoma are the "roudabouts" or whatever they are called that replace four way stops (for those not familiar with these - there are no stop signs just everyone yields to their left and when clear goes right in a circle to the direction they are wanting to head).

Maybe my (successful) cousin (the one getting married) can hook me up with a job and I can move out here....... and start a grunge band!!!11!1 oh wait... grunge has already come and gone..... ok, I will start the new Techno-Industrial-Gothic-Funk-Grunge era. I will name the band the "Willie Pokes" and hopefully I will get to tour with the infamous omgbbqtwirlroflexpress!!1....... but I really haven't given it all much thought ;)

haha so now I am sitting in a Hotel lobby..... There are three wireless networks. One is from the coffee shop, one is the hotel's, and another is from the local university. Crazy stuff.

  12. did you notice everyone drinks coffee out there?? and all the little drive up, drive by coffee shops everywhere???? :) i miss that so much! they have the best coffee shops :) with people that actually know how to make it!

ahh.. i miss washington state soooo much! there is so much to see and do :) go visit mount rainer if you get a chance :) the park and everything up there is so beautiful!

i loved living in that area, because no matter what you do, as long as you dont mind a bit of drizzle you can still go about doing, there is hiking, fishing (great great fishing both ocean and saltwater and crabbing) biking, campin, skiing, water skiing. it is all right there. you can go to the ocean one day and take the ferry over to canada the next! zip down to oregan for a day at their market in portland (great shopping). The weather, while very moist, is always around the same temp, 75 tops in the summer on most days and 50 or so in the winter, minus your two weeks of heat in the summer and two weeks of snow in the winter:) Great area. :)

There is one in Orlando Airport - where the fountain is. The hotel does not have theirs secure :p

  15. i so envy you!!!! oh and did i mention the night clubs ??? portland has some GREAT ONES, as does seattle :) (these are dance clubs, not strip clubs, although i am quite certian that you can find these in the areas and up in canada as well)

  19. i know that the theatre i worked at had an open wireless....ya get all the damn hippie wannabees in there on their macs drinking their starbucks surfing chat sites looking for someone else to fight the man and his capitalist ways....

off topic because im ranting today...i had someone preach to me about he evils of wal-mart and capitalism while holding a cup of coffee from starbucks and adjusting their headphones for their ipod...i had to walk away otherwise i would have choked them down with the headphone cord...i mean..if yer gonna be a fucking hippie...get rid of your ipod, and drink your coffee black. (no latte' bullshit...you think they had mocha lattee's at woodstock?)

lol test, yeah those hypocrtical hippies piss me off as well. One of my friends awhile back ran into a girl we went to highschool with at a taco bell. She was always the type of girl that would wear homemade/thrift store cloths, but drive to school in the beemer daddy bought her. He noticed she wasn't eating and he asked something along the lines of "oh you must not be hungry?" She replied with "I don't support coporate america" (or something as stupid). So one can only assume that this girl does not buy groceries?!? In order to not support corporate America she must grow all her own food...... granted, in the middle of the City of Columbus (campus no less), I find it hard to believe that she has her own little potato farm....... She probably does have her own "orchard" but it is for smokin' not eatin' :)

    damn hippies......

on sort of the same note..... While walking around the University area of Seattle there was this hippish person holding a sign that said "Dirty, Ugle and Broke" while lots of designs around it....... a well crafted, involved cardboard sign made with love. She approached me and asked if I had any money to give to her..... I said no.... she gave me some "thanks for nothing ahole look" so I pointed to her sign and said "hey, at least you have your creativity" :D Hippy bums - 0 Donkeysmiler - 1 !!!!1!!! granted, after that comment I walked away rather quick for fear she would eat me :(
