  1. Seeing as my attempt to get someone to play SWG failed, I thought I would try my last game that I play to see if I can get some people to keep me company :D I feel like this game too has gotten a bad name due to its early problems, and people going off of word of mouth from some people that haven't even played it properly. I have been playing since beta and I can say it has had its hiccups (Like planetside 2 isn't hiccuping...) but it has since recovered, and all outstanding issues have been acknowledged and fixed or are in the process of being fixed.

ANYwho...It is a pretty amazing game, graphically blowing PS2 and SWTOR out of the water in terms of MMO prettiness, storywise it is dark and gritty filled with moments of comedy and horror, along with a gripping story that makes you just want to keep playing for 4 days straight, and the gameplay is fast paced, creative, and not just random button smashing like most other mmos.

Firstly, the story and cutscenes. Coming from the mastermind Ragnar Tørnquist who made two of my all time favourite story games Dreamfall and Dreamfall the Longest Journey, it is deep, dark, complex, and keeps you crawl deeper and deeper into the secret world and learn about the shadow wars between factions, and the filth (AKA the flood).

The cinimatics themselves are pretty epic, and right from the game engine instead of being rendered, and look amazings, and make you feel like...

    Badass...

    and Funny...

    You get the idea....

As far as gameplay goes, it gets pretty exciting as its not your simple sit and click and mash combos, you have to actually dodge attacks, work as a team, and think about what your doing. The quests too are pretty varied, and make you think. Some of them are pretty complex too, not just to do, but to think out...I think I had one that had me translating latin, another one making me figure out riddles, and the other making me watch the history channel to find out which Pope was murdered with a claymore.

As far as skills and leveling go, its pretty open and such and has great complexity. Basically, you can equip two weapons at the same time (Shotgun, rifle, sword, claws, sledgehammer, pistol, blood magic, ect..) and then one Auxiliary weapon now which im excited about, which is the Rocket launcher, chainsaw, and some new crazy form of magic. when you equip the two, you can mix and match 6 abilities and use them to all sorts of crazy effects and ends ;P Makes it fun to find a cool match like a blood magic weilding AR rifleman, or a katana wielding pistoleer with a chainsaw...and each weapon has like 3 different trees to go up :3 so its awsome...

I couldn't really find any good combat trailers or anything, but this should give you an idea of how combat goes..

(Make sure you watch it all, to see the twists this game gives you ;P)

Anywho, anyone that has any questions or stuff let me know and ill explain more  I am currently a Dragon Operative, but ill be wililing to reroll to templar or illuminati if people want, just means we can pvp with the badassness that is this ;)
