This weekend only! Retaliator, Gladiator and Super Hornet on sale

I suppose it really depends on what your preference is; "sale" is a relative term given you're paying more for a ship with LTI and perhaps not a good bundle, when some of the CDL are offering to exchange select ships you own or purchased with a limited insurance plan, for the same one with lifetime.

If you are prepared to part with the extra dollars to support the game's continued development, however, then so be it.

 

I wish people didn't have to pay more, but a bunch of players decided it would be fun to scalp players on ebay and such for LTI ships which are much higher valued then they even should be.

CIG stated that half the support tickets they answer are in relation to players being frauded in this "grey market" and Chris Roberts is quoted in saying he wish he never introduced the LTI. Sadly we have to pay more so the Original and Vet backers get some benefit (cheaper prices), but hey won't matter after Tuesday

 

Nacht and Zib can also help if Khorne is busy.

 

I'm not going to touch eBay when it comes to Star Citizen; special editions of games are bad enough and the site is a prime example of trading abuse.

I think we may crack 30mil before Sunday and I wonder if the Origin 890 jump will be put on sale Tuesday as a result.

I reread the commlink for this weekend's sale and it mentions a Super Hornet upgrade (from base Hornet) that includes LTI. I didn't see it directly on the pledge page, but the link in the commlink had it.

It's not necessarily a discount. These were the original prices. There is just a markup for newer backers to get LTI. There is still the whole weekend and I can help anyone get them at these prices. Just send me the total amount in other ships/skins and I'll purchase it at these prices and gift it back. Just remember the 24 hour wait period before I can melt the items.
