Hello, my name is Russell. I have recently begun to play PlanetSide2. I would like an opportunity to meet and play with your guild. The character I have in beta is named TonkaToy. I believe I am at Phase 1: The Application. I have registered in the CDL forums; same name.

Main character name – Jaruden
Long-life member, officer for a time in WoW.
The WoW guild was disbanded upon SWToR release; daughter guild created http://www.chopguild.org/ for SWToR. My main, Jaruden, was a founding member.
I continued on for a bit in SWToR.
EQ/EQ2 – transition to WoW
WoW - from Vanilla till Cata, Alliance/Horde – two betas- transistion to SWToR,
SWToR – beta till after release, Empire – game was nice, but did not keep my interest.
LoTRO - beta – horrid game play, did not continue past beta
I still talk with some of the ToCM guild members and occasionally add to forums. I have not “officially” quit the guild.

5) What are you looking for in a guild? Please be thorough.
Below are some characteristics I look for in a guild. I have stuck with one guild for well over 8 years – ToCM. I have had membership in a couple of WoW Horde guilds which friends had created. As I have matured, and had children, my times for play have moved more towards weekend play; in that I suppose my game time is more casual. I do attempt to modify my schedule to meet in game scheduled events as much as I can.

4) Organized
5) Dependable and committed
6) Teamwork and assistance
7) Humor
8) Please, no drama—I have teenage girls; they come with drama attached.

I am not aware of knowing anyone that is already in CDL. I do have a coworker, Richard, that has gotten me started on PlanetSide2 and who has applied to CDL; I have been in beta for some time now. His beta toon is SomethingWitty AKA Switty. He has shared several videos and much information with me about PlanetSide and PlanetSide2 and I am very interested in playing with an outfit. He has applied to your guild and pointed me to your site as well. I could identify with many of the things I read on your site and find them attractive in a guild and its demeanor.

No questions about recruiting. The process seems very clear.

Also you can jump on IRC and chat with us when ya can , that way we can get to know you better and also participate on the forums.
