    It's still in research and development. They don't have a prototype yet. Here are some factors to really highlight...

    The Army has developed a laser for the M1A1. Do you see that one them though?

    The system needs a realistic power source. 2 Miles is not a significant distance for any use and I seriously doubt it would be legalized for residential use.
