Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines

Discussion in 'Upcoming Games Discussion' started by Hyncharas, 28 Oct 2004.

  1. Given the response we all had from Paladin recently, I'm going to take this with a pinch of salt. Yes, I admit that Van Helsing is a corny film to watch, but I have also been watching the progress of the pointy-teeth RPG in the SOURCE Engine, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines.

So as to not bore you with my own views just yet, the best thing for you to do is to download the Bloodlines Walkthorugh (careful, 680MB), which provides you with a rundown of how to create a character, assigning skills, and how to make general interactions and combat in the game. I wish I could tell you whether or not it has multiplayer, buit the truth is, I can't find any concrete information on the game except that it is in SOURCE, it is fully customiseable, and you have cool abilites and weapons to use.

I'll see what sites I can dig into on the game's features (no pun inteded).

  2. I read an article about the in PCgamer a loooong time ago and they talked about multi-player (including some fairly innovative game types which i can't really remember), but that was at least a year ago and probably closer to two. It does look like it could be a really good game though.

  3. I am indeed looking foreward to this game almost as much as I am looking foreward to HL2 itself. It's character building system seems reminscent of Arcanum, also made by Troika, and also a great game. I cant wait to get my hands on the Bloodlines.
