Victim of Street Racing

    A friend of mine from college died on Sunday after his vehicle was hit by a car that was street racing. Two others died also. None of which were the street racing drivers - of course - although they are facing possible jail time.

    I'll be heading to Houston tonight for the funeral tomorrow morning.

    I wonder where in Houston that took place. I didnt hear anything on the news about that recently.

    i am so sorry to hear that, i have to agree with everyone else that street racing is bad news :(

    there are plenty of legal race tracks to take your baddass car to test it out, if your willing to put all that money into making it look good and go fast, spend the money to race it legally.

    It sucks that there are people out there that think testosterone is a substitute for knowing how to drive. I can't say *all* street racing is bad, but when you've got a 16 year old in daddy's brand new mustang GT thinking he's hot shit looking for street races during lunch rush hour, that's where the problem starts. Not just 16 year olds mind you, but everyone who thinks they can drive better than they really can.

    Really sucks when stuff like this happens and gives every car enthusiast a bad name.
