"Warhammer: Mark of Chaos" literature

Discussion in 'Upcoming Games Discussion' started by Hyncharas, 3 Sep 2006.

  1. The reason I haven't mentioned this game before is, well, I just think the system will be far too annoying for me to play. But if those here are interested in an RTS similar to Company of Heroes (just with no base or resource-management), you can find the Warhammer: Mark of Chaos website at the address below to find out more:

So, why have I mentioned it now? It's a little-known fact that, since I've taken an interest in becoming a Game Designer in the future, I've tried to only buy games when they've released Special or Collector's Editions of them; because of the extra content. This kind of content has ranged from "behind-the-scenes" footage, to design-team commentaries, to artbooks and background material they have released to show its development since coneption.

Now while MoC's may not be doing this, for when the game when its launch to retailers comes around... Games Workshop has, and it's only been in the last couple of days they've made a mention of these publications available for pre-order. So, there are two links below.

While the first is a novel based of the campaign's storyline, the second is an artbook that shows a mixture of concept art, as well as painted versions both in the game and using miniatures as physical display pieces:
