I'll think about it, it is medieval after all...

 

I was all excited for this game until I heard EA bought Mythic..... Will give it a try hopefully in beta to find out if it is any good.

 

This will probably be the only mmo that will give wow a run for their money. PVP in wow was terrible from the get-go, and keeps getting worse. From the sounds of it, Mythic is going to have rvr simmilar to daoc which makes me happy and the thought of leveling a character soley through pvp brings a smile to my face. Can't wait for this one.

 

I'm definetly watching this game being a tabletop player myself. We need to look at setting up the division ahead of time so we have a solid start. Once more info comes out we should look at which side CDL will be throwing themselves into the fray with.

 

I played the table top game myself for about 6 months so I know a good bit about the universe. I haven't looked into the game much since I first heard that it had been scrapped so I wonder if you have to pick an army or side. I think it would be hawt if we were Bretonians. My Bretonian army was Dragonwolf themed with Manitou as my armies Lord.

 

I don't think that's an option. As far as I know it's Humans, Dwarves, and Elves vrs. Chaos, Orcs, and Dark Elves. I played a High Elf army and have used Empire a good deal as well. That game is a lot of fun I just don't seem to have the patience for the modeling aspect.

 

Bretonnians were a new addition to Warhammer 3rd Edition, as were the Lizardmen and Warhammer Siege; an expansion that added castle terrain and a range of miniatures and rules for siege-based scenarios.

I'm afraid to say it Demus, but Warhammer's changed quite a bit since when you seemed to have played it

So, Mold, did you paint the army? Do you have a photo you can put up on the forums?

 

I'll be trying this one out for sure.

 

i painted some but not all. I don't have any pictures and I gave the army back to the person who let me borrow it.

 

I played the latest edition of the tabletop (5th or 6th edition?). The info from Mythic has it that it will be those 3 good sides vrs. the 3 representitives from evil (or Choas if you will). Hopefully that list will be expanded as the game evolves or they roll a third faction out later (I like the 3 way battles that DOAC has).

So what does everyone think? I would probably vote for the Good guys at this point being a High Elf veteran but new info could change that.

 

I plan on trying it out.

 

Well our "Main" CDL chapter started out as Alliance(good) on WoW, so maybe we can start out as the bad guys on this one?

 

I plan on playing this, glad to see we can do this together and united!

 

They should do a warhammer 40k we have enough fantasy mmos

sounds like it should be a good game
