  1. wifes been getting alot of spam. she uses outlook express. shes been blocking senders but gets the same email from a different sender. Ive heard their are some decent programs you can dl to fix this problem.

any suggestions? I always know where to go when Im looking for good advice :D

  2. Hmm. I use CRM114, but I've never hooked it into outlook, although they say it is possible.

Best I've ever used. I have it running on my work and home systems inside Cygwin.

  4. I have used thunderbird, liked using it. But see, I'm trying to help people because it in turns helps me out, other than just suggesting a new program. Sure, it's tougher to try to get an existing program to do what an individual wants, for free, nonetheless, that's the challenge, for me at least.

  5. If you have Microsoft Office, use Outlook instead. Then go to http://officeupdate.microsoft.com. They update Outlook's spam filters monthly. Caught most things when I used to use Outlook.

I find that not checking e-mail is a great filter. It's free. I get zero spam. Sometimes real friends can't get through to me, but then they complain about that even when we're talking face to face so uh... /me runs away.

  8. i would agree om. I myself am a email hater. But, my wife uses it for many things, so I have no choice, either fix it, or sleep on the couch. So... I think Ill be downloading thunderbird. :D

  9. Thank for the information..Definately going to take a look at Thunderbird.
