Windows 2003 and Scheduled Tasks

    I am having a problem with trying to run a scheduled task. We have a report application that I am trying to schedule to run on a 2003 server but all I get is the status that says running but nothing happens.

    Anybody have any ideas as to what the problem may be? We are running Service Pack 2 btw.

    Make sure the account you have the task running under has a password and permission to run the application.

    Check what springwheat said, that's usually the cause if a task doesn't run. Overall, the Windows task scheduler can be unreliable, depending on what you're trying to use it for. I usually use this on my servers as a replacement.

    Ok dangit...let's not hijack this thread and be giving huggles to Scotty. This was about me and my problem :(

    Eh who am I kidding...what's up Scotty nice to see you stop by here bro!!! Sorry no huggles from me...that would just be weird. So instead I will give them to Sky
