    Well I think WOW is trying to get new ideas from LOTRO, with their new expansion chapter one is The Curse of Ner'zhul(makes me think of Naz'gul). The music from the trailer makes me think of Middle Earth lol. Obviously not coincidence, just something I thought was funny.

    I think Blizzard did borrow some ideas from Tolkien back in the day. Remember, that Warcraft spans about 15 years in gaming with their first game Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. There is a very rich history in that game. A lot of good role players love Warcraft. Telthinar is our resident expert in the lore of Azeroth. I'm pretty sure he's pumped up about the expansion.
