X prize within reach!!

    Spaceshipone has completed one of the two flights needed to win the X Prize today. This also goes along with Virgin Galactic's plan to start commercial space flights by 2007. The prospect at this point says the X prize will be won on monday with Spaceshipone's 2nd flight.

    Also on a side note there is also a new prize: The American Space Prize. In this prize they are going for completing docking with the Bigalow Space Habitats planned to be launched next year by november.
